Where's the fish???? **PICS this time**

Post by dolphinatic »

Headed down to the Aucilla this past Saturday to run the "new" boat with a buddy of mine. Just finished up the last of the wiring on my "new" 1975 Glastron V156 Aqualift. The Merc 850 ran like a beauty  You would have never known it has been sitting in a garage since 1990 :o !!!
Anyhow, we get down to the river and there are 6 or so trucks there. We headed out to the mouth and saw a few boats scattered around with only 1 boat actually in the river. We went from Econfina and back, from 1 ft. of water to 7 ft. and never even got a bite!!! Never had that happen before. Headed back in around 3:30 and spoke to a guy at the ramp who managed 3 trout all day fishing from Econfina to the Rock Garden and back. Not sure where the fish are........anybody have any ideas????

Anyhow, guess I'm gonna stick to offshore. Here's a few pics from the post 3 weeks ago......
