Couldn't find the trout, but the redfish bite was good most of the day. Also found some black drum in the 2-4lbs range and small sheepies toward the T.

It really was a nice day, and I recommend giving the reds a shot if you get some time. Some other pics from the same day. 4 people and 2 pups--hints big, unsightly boat we were on.

Everyone was pretty tired by the end.

Way to go!

1 Question though...
Why are the dogs on a leash... I don't think they'll outswim the boat..

Boo, the lab, is right next to dock when we were first boarding. He had never been a boat and I was afraid he would spook and run.

Chester, the LLewelyn (english setter), is one of the few of his breed that really enjoys swimming. Makes him better at retrieving than most, but not the easiest to fish with.

you're right about that. He was about 27lbs when we picked him up the Sat. before Christmas. He went to the vet yesterday and is 34. Not sure how is doing that since he only gets 1.5 cups of Eukanuba Large Breed Smart Puppy twice daily.

I fear he may be getting an uprecedented number of treats while I'm at work each day
