Went to Keaton Beach yesterday and motored down to the legendary Dallas Creak area. There were'nt but 17 boats in the creek area when we got there...and on a Monday too. Of course it was a holiday for federal employees.
Enclosed is a picture of what we caught there. Never could get any any bigger. Reminded me of St Marks river....the catch that is. This one in the picture is just a little bit bigger than the mirrorlure.
Reports are the area really produced during the holidays....but it was a bust yesterday.
Water temp in the creek was 65.7 degrees. On the flats it was 64.5. Really warm for this time of year...anImaged crystal clear too. :-?
