Don't call TinCan if you have a project with a instruction sheet. The first thing he does is throw the instruction sheet in the garbage. Then he assembles whatever, based on HIS logic. Two hours later,he retrieves the instruction sheet from the trash heap and reads it.
Then,he reassembles the whatever according to the instruction sheet, and it works correctly.
$120 worth of manhours later.
NOT MY FAULT.

OK, let's hear the story behind this. What was he putting together? Who was paying his labor? Etc...

While I could comment firsthand,I feel he,TinCan,should defend himself personally.
If he does not. I will reveal the rotten truth.

Hey. He was paying me. Not that I'm complaining about the extra money. But, it took me way past my cocktail hour.
He could have saved himself a bunch of $. BUT I LET HIM HELP TO SAVE TIME. :hammer: :hammer:

Thinking back on it,the ironic part is,when he let me break for 8 minutes for lunch,he said "I feel like I am finally getting something for my money".
Then, he proceeded to forfeit everything he had saved. :smt005 :smt005

What's an "instruction sheet" and where do you find one?

Yes, I made a mistake. However, I was the inexperienced helper on this job. Jumptroit51 was the PROFESSIONAL. He gave me a task. I made a MINOR mistake in assembling a few parts. When, afterward, things weren't going smoothly, I knew I was in trouble when JT started reading the instruction manual. The Professional checked everything in the book except what I had done. If he were honest, he would tell you that I discovered my mistake before he, the PROFESSIONAL, did.

I now know this mistake is going to cost me a whole lot more than 2 hours of his time. :-?

NOTE: No permanant damage resulted from this MINOR mistake. No one was left sitting in a boat on dry land. I corrected the mistake, and all is well.
