I've been reading post on this site for awhile, and enjoy the Econfina fishing reports. I'll try to keep you updated on my fishing at the river.

To paraphrase what Mr. Dean used to say to everyone coming into
and leaving his restaurant in Perry...."finest people in the world
fish at Ankyfaenna."

Errr....the man's name was Deal...Roy Deal. A fine friend who has gone to the other side. Man helped me learn to eat Raw Oysters about 40 years ago. A true sport

Thanks for the correction...yes, Mr. Deal! One of those senior moments trying to remember names.

First time I saw the "pogo stick
show" I just about freaked.

By far the best mullet I've ever eaten and great oysters!

Welcome High Hope. It's a sorry time of the year to start trout fishing down there....they aren't biting. I know you know trout season closes after next Wednesday..for a month...but when it opens back up come March....and the wind stops blowing enough...it's a great place to be on the flats.
