St Marks 1/27/07

Well we launched the Fishanator at the fort. Our bait choices for the day were Shrimp, Squid, and Sardines. We went to the St Marks Reef first and got a bunch of teenager Rock Bass. So after a while of catching these every 2 seconds we went to the sunken barge. We didn't get anything out there so we headed back to the St Marks Reef. All we got there were a bunch of teenager Rock Bass again. Maybe we would need to go out father for some bigger fish?

Tough days make the good ones worth it.
If you are only catching small fish, change to very light tackle and make it more fun.

I seem to recall that folks that couldn't buy a bite bottom fishing, caught several fish by trolling a few weeks back
