I sleep in this morning until 7:00, got up, had some coffee and some breakfast...Noted how calm and clear it was  ...Task for the day was rear brakes on my wife's van, I got the pads last night, so all I had to do was install them...that took about an hour or two.

I earned a kitchen pass, so I hastily gather my stuff up, as I pull the boat out of the back yard, I notice the nice clear skies to the east and the cloudy skies to the west, I knew the NOAA forecast was coming true, but maybe they were wrong

I launch the boat at the Lynn Haven ramp, thinking the wind would turn out of the north and I could seek shelter on the bank.

Well I take off across the slick bay, as I approach the point I want to fish the winds is starting to pick up, but it's out the west, good for drifting the point....As I come off plane I see a school of humps fleeing :-D

I start fishing and the fan from the west is getting faster and faster by the minute...At one point I made a cast and thought I got a bite, the boat was drifting so fast I couldn't catch up to the fish.

I drifted up on a school of 30 or so redfish, some go left, some right, I make a Steve Barkowski hail mary ahead of the school and reel my Bayou Buck spinner through the area...I get a hit, miss, another hit, a miss...I see the fish...I finally just stop the lure and he picks it up...Fish On :-D

Nice 26" red in the box per the Bosses orders...

I drift on down the bank at a high rate of speed and run over 20 or more redfish, the wind was terrible. If I had gone this morning I would of kicked some redfish butt with the calm clear conditions.

I decide to move across the bay because it looked calmer, well the trip across the bay was reminiscent of Keaton 2006, probably worse, it was ugly in the bay.

I run up a harbor and fish it out, don't see nothing, all the time I'm looking at the washing machine of a bay. I decide to put it on the trailer before it got any worse...I got soaked on the way in.

Caught fish, saw alot of fish, took a saltwater shower, nothing broke, can't wait til next time.

Nice report. However,I'm wondering why you are using the Sopchoppy raffle prizes on your redfishing excursion?
