The morning started out at a brisk 24 Deg F with absolutely no wind. It was a beautiful day, all I needed now was a little water. I fished a deep hole at the mouth of a creek just getting out to the gulf and picked up one 21 redfish. Where was he at last weekend when I needed him? Nothing else to report until the tide started moving in. And it moved in quick. It was like paddling upstream to get out on the flats that were uphill to my location just a few hours earlier. Paddled out on the flats and rode the current in to pick up two more Redfish and missed over 20 that nibbled on my spoon right off the boat then dart away. The fish were all over the place, I guess they were getting pretty hungry waiting on that tide to envelop the flats. Paddled back up into the mouth of another creek and picked up three trout that were 17-19 inches long. Beautiful day until the SW winds picked up and started blowing in real cold air.

Dang Suber, you must have a heck of a long timer on that camera, or your one fast paddler. How did you get that far away from the camera that fast? And while we are at it, what did you set your camera on?

Bank fishermen do pretty good there. One fellow caught a 23" red on Friday witha bankfishing lure called the Gulp. I just had to say that, ain't nothing wrong with Gulp.
