Ran near and far but couldn't find them. Thought we had a good day on tap, two AJ's boxed first thing, 6 oz pearl jig with red worm trailer. One 23" gag on LY shortly there after, then it shut down. Nothing but shorts the rest of the day. Stopped at 6-8 holes in 35-75 range. Anchored, drifted and trolled. Used LY's, boston mackeral, spanish sardines, squid, and one octopus tentacle. Low tide @ 7:15 am. Water temp inshore 55, offshore 58, clarity fair. Wind south @ 10 kt early becoming east <5kt. Seas 2-3 early becoming calm. Will try again sat if the forcast holds. Plan to go deeper for warmer water.

That's discouraging, Sawbones. I'm going Sunday. Any suggestions for someone going to 40'+/-?

Don't know what to tell ya, TC. We got a few shorts in 35 feet, the bite was almost imperceptible. Maybe this warm front will raise the water temp a few degrees and turn them back on. We may wait and go sunday as well based on the latest forcast.
