My wife told me that if I do break down and buy a new boat I would probably name it: "MY NEXT, LAST BOAT"

Had a catamaran named "Cat Sass". Thought that was pretty creative.

This is a really old thread, but a cool topic. The coolest name I have ever seen for a boat is "CHICKEN SHIP" What have you guys seen?

Any name on the side/stern of a smallish (23' or less) fishing boat just reduces resale value in my opinion. Do you know what it takes to successfully remove a silly name from a boat and not pick up a curse or bad luck? I'm thinking 10% of the value of the boat right off the top.

Good point Grim Reeler, there is a real estate agent in Albany that bought a Carolina Skiff a few years ago from a retired guy in Macon. The name on the side was "REEL RETIRED", the guy who bought the boat was in his early thirties, I assume he changed the name?

I plan on living my boats name for the rest of my life!!! Like the Harley guys say, cant just be a name, has to be a lifestyle!!!
