Need a fuel tank with fuel gauge. Below deck polyethylene, aluminum or stainless steel is acceptable. Capacity anywhere from 18 to 35 gallons. Dimensions tall and skinny. Eight to 12 inches wide, 10 to 16 inches tall 30 to 60 inches long. This will be installed on the port side. Other sizes considered. Wanted to give the board a chance to empty the garage before spending $2-300.00 on a new one. Phone 229-382-3991.

Sorry - I can't help you with a spare tank although I am cleaning out the garage in preparation for moving down to the Fla. panhandle. I have one of those 5 ft. tall steel tanks that acetylene comes in that I don't know what to do with however. It was in the garage when I bought the house - maybe I can cash it in for a deposit on it.
But, I was wondering, is a polyethelene tank appropriate for under the deck or otherwise permanent on-board? I think I would worry about chafing or some type of vibration-induced wear/leak from a loose tool or whatever.
Just wondering, as I was thinking of adding some fuel capacity and mounting it next to the existing stainless tank in the forward under-deck area -- and poly is a lot less expense than SS !
