i have a question: i have a minn kota riptide...i am wondering if there is
a bracket than i can get to put it as a bow mount ? and if so where's the best place to get it ? i only used it before on the back of the boat.

You get what you pay for. This is the strongest conversion mount I've ever seen.

Can you turn the motor head around on a transom mount so that it works on the bow? If so you could save a little $, but seems it would be harder to lift it.
