Club members decide to run their boat or go into the draw. The boat operators draw names from the pot to see who they fish with that day.
One of the ways to get to know members better and to find secret fishing holes and to find other ways of fishing than your own.
Most club members look forward to these events more than some others.

Thanks.

Boat operators decide during the week to show up with boat? The pot are those who decide not to bring their boat? Is this the chance for those fishermen (and women) to fish a tourney if they don't have a boat?

I'm a little foggy on the details. Please explain further when you get the chance.

Yes. Non-boat owners are the first to sign up. Regular tournament fishermen participate as well in hopes of drawing me on their team. :-D
Those who draw BirdDog tend not to show up with their boat. :smt005
Those that get drawn by TinCan tend not to show up either.
The club meetings are all about meeting new fishermen and becoming friends and fishing together.
Come join us.

I guess there was some useful info there. Somehow I think you were drifting between fact and fiction. Get back to me when the doc adjusts your meds. :-D

I'll mount a bleacher seat on my milk crate for someone to join me on my kayak.

Absolutely  As a matter of fact, ANY tournament (not just a draw) is an opportunity for folks who don't have a boat to fish. If you do not have a boat and would like to fish a tournament, please let it be known that you'd like a ride. Boats are allowed to have up to 4 on a team and it's not unusual to see 3. So.... let us hear from you, I'm sure there are members who would be glad to have you as part of the team.
