Slipped out after church and Sunday School, to Keaton for the first time since early October. Launch at the public ramp at about 1:00, and head north. Long story short, fished all the way from Keaton north to Spring Warrior, and had 5 short trout plus the SUPRISE catch of the day, a 20" Spanish Mackeral! Seems way early for them... wonder what today would have been like if not for the cold front on Friday.

Fished 1.5'-4.5' of water all day, water temp hit a high of about 62.5* at about 5:00... Caught fish on stick bait, grubs, and live shrimp. The wind howled and it was cold, but it was a blue bird day. It still beat working.

Headed for the hill about 6:00, back home and ready for bed!

Oh yeah, the new truck got just over 14 pulling the boat, about 2 MPG better than the old truck did.
