put in at fort @ 1:30 went to the east. not as rough as i thought it would be. I got some info about some areas to fish so off i went. Pulled up to a spot and started fishing missed a good red :smt010 drifted up in a creek mouth ran to the front grabbed the trolling motor to start down the grass line and NO juice!!!! Went back to the the helm and tried to fire the motor DEAD!!!!! called tow boat US 2 @ half hours later they jumped me off. As i sat there bobbing like a cajun thunder i casted furiously i did manage a couple of trout> one 22" & one 19" This was my first trip since quail season & i started off with a BANG. all in all i learned a few good lessons; ! 1: always check your batteries 2: never assume they are good 3: never leave home w/o your jumper 4: hope for the best prepare for the worst. there were lot's of fish around the cobb rock area but it helps if you can move around a little bit.

Yep, I had to buy 4 new ones last week. Nothing worse than being stranded without power. Sounds like you at least got supper.

You catch more fish with a broken boat than I catch with a working one. Good job.

I'll give it to BD...he wouldn't drain your batteries. He's smarter than that. He would steal your batteries and replace them with his old ones.
