Has anyone ever had any work done at Tri-State Marine between Tallahassee and Midway? I drive by there almost daily and have been wondering if they do good work.

I called them one time about gettin a carb rebuilt on my motor and really wasn't impressed with their attitude and customer service.

I stopped by there to get a price on a re-power for my old Proline. Called them back twice after that to get the price. Never got a return phone call or price. Purchased elsewhere and will never "bother" them again.

I had some service performed there about three years ago. It was pretty quick considering every other boat shop in the area had a waiting time of a week or more (It was the busy time, March). I then priced a engine there which was quite a bit more than the one I got from Mike's Marine in Panacea. Just my .02

I get all of my work done at tri state and there have been some changes made here lately One reason why the motor might have been alittle cheaper at Mikes is because they are a loose motor dealer and tri state is not, except for evinrude.
