NFGFC Meeting Reminder
Posted: February 19th, 2003, 2:00 pm
It's time again for another spectacular NFGFC Meeting. This Thursday February 20th at Beef O'Brady's we have a full meeting planned with announcements and guests.
Our guest speaker will be Captain Tom Stephens of TopNotchOffshore Sportfishing. Capt. Tom will provide us with valuable light-tackle offshore fishing tips and tactics, as well as rigging and bait selection. You may remember the write-up on Capt. Tom in the Dec. 2002 Florida Sportsman Magazine. Let's have a big crowd for this exciting speaker.
Also joining us is Jay Youmans, NFGFC member and owner of Southern Salt Lure Company. Jay will have a huge selection of his now famous cobia/grouper jigs for sale at a Club Member only price of $3.00 each. You won't want to miss this deal, and you should stock up now for the upcoming cobia season.
The newest club newsletter is now online for your reading pleasure. Thanks to Capt. Chuck Simpson for writing this quarter's edition, as well as the spring fishing preview that is included. The newsletter can be found here .
After a lot of hard work by our Tournament Committee, the 2003 NFGFC Tournament Schedule is now up. Please check this schedule frequently, as changes could be made to venues and times. The 2003 schedule can be found here .
As always, we will have great prizes for raffle. Please be sure to tell your friends about the meeting. Hope to see you there!
