Keaton tournament fun

I just received notice that I had a PM, and I realized I actually had several, many of which were in response to my post regarding pen raised quail a some time back. A couple of you asked how my pup is progressing, so I though I would give an update.
He's just over six months old now and 53lbs. He does pretty well with obedience and retrieving, but still not much exposure to birds in the upland.
Here is a picture taken during the Keaton tournament. Those of you who competed may remember that my father was in town, so we were looking to have some fun in addition to the serious fishing (evidenced by stringer weight). That fun resulted in us drifting onto a shallow flat, which we remained on for 30-45 minutes giving the pup a chance to stretch his legs.
Tight lines this weekend, and TGIF.
