Lake Hall 3/20 thru 4/2

Fished Lake Hall a few times recently. Here are some Pics
3-20 Fishing by myself
3-23 My partner with a lean 8.05 pounder
4-1 Fishing by myself
4-2 By myself, this fella agreed to holding the stringer for a pic
3-22 By myself, This fish was 26.5 inches long with a girth of 22 inches
She went 12.02
This pic is when she first came aboard
Here is another at the landing. This kid was afraid the fish was going to bite him.

BH-those are very nice fish. Congratulations.
You may wanter to consider releasing some of those larger ones though. Hate to see 12lb genes with roe in them going to the dinner table. Just my opinion though, not taking away from you catch one bit.

Those are some great fish and I must say that I strongly agree with showboat those large females are important to a body of water when so many are taken out, but on the other hand those are some true hogs

There is nothing like lively lake shiner under a cork to bring out the big females. I got a couple, 8+, one day like that. After I took a couple of pictures, I let them go. Thirty years a go, I would have taken them in to show all my buddies but that was 1970. Something didn't feel right about it then, and I couldn't do it now, besides the two pounders are the best eating.
That is not angling. Catch one of those big females with a jig or a lip-less shiner crank bait and I'll be impressed with your skill. If you want to fish like that, bring some chicken livers and catch some of those big catfish. Now that's good eating.

Nice fish! Everyone together now, throw them back, throw them back and if you ate a 12+ pounder I would love to see whats on your wall
