Great VHF for Small/Crowded Consoles

Post by fillet-n-release »

I ran across a referral for this radio on another forum last year when I was trying to figure out how to shoe horn a fixed mount into my console. After six months of use it has proven to be a superb unit. The link below is the only place I've ever seen this model offered. FYI: The price shown is the manufacturer's suggested price. You have to add one to your cart to see the actual sales price.

I've been in your flats boat. You never turn the radio on and you use your antennae as a power pole. :smt009

I have a decent sized console on my bay boat, but that is the way I went as well. I love the clean look it leaves. All you have visible outside the console is the RAM Mic. Many of the online discount marine electronics places have the PS1000 for a little over $100, so good price as well.
