Naa. Even gassed up the bote yesterday after work. But after last weekend of getting owned by the wind... going to shoot skeet instead. At least on Saturday.

The wind has been blowing for a week, the water is churned up,the temperature has dropped. Other than that, there is no reason not to go. The fish are probably ready to bite.

Under no conditions would any reasoning intelligent person fish in the conditions that are predicted for tommorrow, however my partners dad has driven from Columbas Ga. and is in Perry Fla. in a hotel now waiting for us to meet him at Wilsons in the A.M. so I am gassed up loaded and and am going despite the many reasons not too. :smt013

I have a fair reputation and would not like it tarnished please don't tell the fish or my guests I am not feeling it at all.

I have called the big guns and begged for advice the word is if I go up the creeks 70 miles to the back side of Georgia I may catch some brim on pond worms.

I will buy Shrimp & catch Pin fish if there are any I will fish my best holes and bars on the right tides and if I get lucky we won't get skunked / I won't look like a total idiot. I will hope for sail cats sea robins and blue fish as long as fish come over the rail they would never know the difference. :smt010 :smt010 :smt010

   I still think I would rather clean the garage or go shopping with the wife.

Wind was actually very gusty today at the lighthouse but the waves were not bad at all. And it died down a bit after noon.

As Just Fish mentioned, wind wasn't bad early afternoon Friday. Picked up later however--at one point we were using the real anchor as a sea anchor to slow the warp speed drift....
Went out this afternoon briefly but just cruised in the river. My dog liked the cold wind a lot more than my girlfriend
