Today was one of those days when the desire to get out on the water and throw the lines out weighed the fact that the fishing might be slow due to the wind/weather. It's been almost two weeks since my last trip so I went anyway and I was right. Wind blew pretty hard all day. I stayed in tight and fished around any windbreak areas I could find. There was a bunch of bait (mullets all sizes and glass minnows) all around these types of spots but no big fish. Managed two rat reds a small flounder and two small-ish trout. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Once this weather breaks and we get back to the norm I bet there will be about two weeks or so when the fishing will be magic around here and I for one can't wait. Hence today.... Water temp was 70 to 71.5

:smt006 Redplisher, you know what we say about work? 8) It looks like the water temp has moved up since our my trip yesterday...which is a good thing! I agree, my friend, by next weekend it will be sunshine and hungry fish - again. :smt007
