Sounds like a Deal- Be sure to check the blue book value of the boat and motor. Is it a Deep "v" or a bay boat? How much will the boat draft?

Ill use it some here in the lakes but not much. my parents have a condo in Cedar Key, we go there 3 4 times a year. I bought a 13' Hobie last year, its a great boat, just to small.

If you got the cash, and don't mind having a boat that requires 2' of water or more to run, snap it up. Around these parts you need a boat that drafts 2' or less to get to the fish.....

E-lineman-
I'm not familiar with the waters around Cedar Key. If there is plenty of deep water on low tide you should be alright, but from what I've seen of the area, the water is kind of skinny....
I roam from the Econfina to the Apalachicola river. Around these parts there is allot of shallow water and rocks, so the shallower the boat runs the lower chance you have of running aground or kissing the rocks.
Again assess your needs is it fishing? or skiing? or simply pleasure boating?
Only you can answer that question. If it were me, I'd keep looking.
