Put in at Sheilds around 6:30, at lighthouse at sun-up,chummed up some pinners, about 3-4 dozen and headed out. All of a sudden my GPS stops working :smt013 So I fiddle around with it and get it working again, hammer down,go about 2 miles and the danged thing stops again :smt013 :smt013 Worked on it again, bingo, hammer down again :D nope, cuts off again :smt011 Figure out it's a bad connection, the plug is corroded so I say the heck with the darned thing let's do it Old School, ran out to 30' and started trolling some Rappalas at about 5 Knts. Picked up first one after 10 mins, 24",in the fish box he goes. Another 10 mins ,short 20", 5 mins another 24"er. Trolled over some good live bottom and trolling shut down so we u-turn and head back to where I saw some nice bottom (was using crab traps as guides). Anchored up and dropprd some livies down. Over next hour caught 3 more with largest at 27". Did'nt have camera so had to wait til back at Hill to get some snaps
