Barhopr was kind enough to tag along as my wingman this evening while I worked on breaking in the new boat. We launched from the boat basin in Bainbridge around 5:15p.m. and ran down to Seminole. It was my 1 st time down the Flint, I think it was a pretty river, but to tell the truth I couldn't take my eyes off my new boat. Barhopr was constantly having to get my attention to keep me in the channel.
The boat ran great. We got the 1st 2 and 1/2 hours break in completed running her up to 3/4 throttle.
Made it back to Bainbridge just as it was getting dark. Made a few rookie mistakes loading her. Also found out your not gonna shove this boat around on the trailer like my old boat.
Barhopr's got some good pics of her running. They'll be posted shortly.
Thanks again bud for tagging along and keeping me straight.

Was your last boat a tunnel? If not that will take a little getting used to, espically reverse. Won't take long though
Glad everything ran well.

Nope my 1st tunnel. Backing off the trailer I put about 10 gal. of water in the boat.

Eat 'em! Dont knock Gaftop til u try 'em! Spray 'em with the hose before you put 'em in the fish box to deslime and then filet him like all the rest of them. Good on the grill or throw him in the grease with the rest. Nobody has ever known the diff. Personally I dont keep 'em if Ive got a box full but it was the first fish of the day!! How'd you like the boat? How ya'll do in the tourney?
