You folks are going to have a lot of fun there tomorrow per our preliminary trip the past two days out of Mexico Beach!

The Mangler, a guest, & I fished offshore Wednesday for King Macks, Spanish, Cobia, and managed to caught one very angry 6' Black-tip shark on freelined bluerunner intended for a big mack.

We caught mackeral on silver spoons!
Inside the bay yesterday out of Persnell Landing, Mangler & I (the guest had to go home) caught flounder & trout...there are some really hog-sized trout there! I used a Silver floating & sinking Mirrolure, while Mangler had great success with the Berkley Gulp mega-sized Chartreuse/White Assassin look-a-like soft bait!

Gin-clear water, with water temp = 72-76 degrees; clear skies & following seas of W/SW winds, 5-10 mph, bay smooth! Air temp = 80-low 90's - get out the sunblock, ya'all!
If anyone wants to know where we fished (or more importantly), where the guide fished that we tracked, send me a pm or email..."ill tell you all!

That sounds like a great trip. I've heard from smie-relieable sources that kings and dolphin are on the way.
