An amazing day on the water today. I started at 11:00 and fished hard till 7:00. Steady action all day with a strong push of fish on the late afternoon fall. Saw more big trout today than on any other day I can remember. Extremely spooky and close to impossible to catch. Fun trying anyway. The pics:

You Go Nolefly

How'd you get them fish to hold still? Mine always end up flopping all over the deck the minute they get in the boat. :-D

good to see a fellow catch'em with a flyrod! Also good to hear somebody can still catch a fish at Lanark without getting run over by a boat. Is the traffic still bad down there?? I quit fishing there a few years ago when I had about sixty boats around me trying to catch a tarpon in trout water!!

Nole, I saw you were parked in front of me when I got in, so I said a prayer for the fish. I'm glad you had a good day. We put a couple in the air  What a beautiful day!
