Had the day to myself so I decided to do some 'splorin. On the water by 0730 (no flats this time).The morning was slow with just a couple of short reds to show then after the tide started coming back in I finaly started boating some fish. The high lite of the day was a 23" trout that surprised me. Only took one trout home for supper but the kids talked me into pizza instead . Over all it was pretty slow, five reds with only two in the slot and five trout, no shorts. I guess I spent too much time riding and looking Off the water at 1500. No flats on the way home either

BTW- TIP ** the best time to go sploring down there is in the middle of winter. MJ

I do that to, I usually come from Panacea/ Bottoms area.
