Friday was the toughest day of trout fishing I've ever had at SJB. Reel Slow and I started fishing around 9:30. We fished hard. I mean real hard. We threw it all at 'em and the best we could come up with was around 15 or so 15" trout and 8-10 redfish. We covered 62.9 miles looking for better trout.

After the tide started falling out late in the evening we started picking up some good fish. I really don't like that bay when its full of water. We loaded up around 6:45 hoping Saturday was better.

Saturday , we were 2nd out behind Mudducker. My plan today was to not fish the spots we fished yesterday. It was the best plan we could come up with considering how tough the day before was. Saturday seemed a little better, but only marginally. It was still pretty slow. We fumbled around for a while before finally stumbling into a huge school of 30â€

Heck of a story with that big red. I don't think I would believe you were it not for ReelSlow being there to testify

I think you learned that photo trick from Chalk, we all know how upset he gets when photos reveal too much location :D

62.9 miles in SJB. :o You fished it all BD! A fine way to break in your new sled. Sounds like you guys had a heck of a tournament.

BD,
I really like the looks of your new rig and always enjoy communicating with you. I'm having a little trouble, however, sympathizing with you and Reel Slow, especially when you suggest your toughest day ever (at that location) is 15 or so keeper trout and 8-10 reds. I'd like to feel that kind of pain. :-?

Just kidding, partner. Glad things picked up for you Saturday and it was good seeing you again. Looks like your boy was pretty pleased with his red and it seemed like the kids were excited about the new boat.
