I have heard of the following but do not know where. The ol' plane wreck and cobb rock. They suggest I do not hit either one.

Don't know the old plane wreck but the coordinates for cobb rock are on the area charts page in the waypoints list. However unless there are 2 cobb rocks if you hit this one out of Econfina, then you are way off course.:)

Don't know anything about the plane wreck but for Cobb's rock, the one from Jerry's B and T is :

Cobb Rocks 30 04.758 N • 84 02.574 W

There's more than one rock in the area though :o

I brought my GPS home last weekend to share the #s for the
cluster of "front rocks" at Anky....

30. 01. 573
083. 56. 774

30. 01. 462
083. 56. 812

30. 01. 662
083. 56. 972

Hope this helps everyone avoid these hazards.

Those are the very reason I never go straight out of the river, instead, go to left of the tripod and head due south.

Here is a graphic of where those are....

Here is my route when exiting Anky...

Thanks for the replies. I know cobb rock is not near the Econfina, but I hear about it frequently. The airplane wreck is somewhere between Rock Islands and the mouth of the Icky and can tear up some equipment. The old timers speak of it often.
