huntn2fish has one. Maybe he'll chime in. I've fished out of it a few times. I was impressed with how shallow it floated and how well it got up in shallow water. That being said it probably ain't the best boat for east of St. Marks.

I would really like to hear the responses on this boat too. My roommate is considering getting one and he has been researching all over.

I had a black 2004 vision 1800 with a 90 merc. To sum it up , I found out Kenner is an old indian word for arse wetter. Any wave over one foot or so and you better have a change of clothes. This was my first brand new off the showroom boat so I felt good with the purchase. After 3 months, I had to replace most of the hardware screws in the deck latches and they wouldnt stay after that. Every trip I was tightening latches. Soon the latches and the deck began to pop and crack and squeak. About six months and my pop in drain ( the main drain in the stern) popped out. The dealer would not make it good and I had to pay another boat place to rebore and glass the plug back in. I had to rewire the entire boat including the circuit breaker because the factory wire harness shorted out from corrosion. This was supposed to be salt proof. Inside the console, it never got wet but I guess the air?? Anyway, I own a Triton now and I would strongly recommend this brand. If you want to stay in the price range of the Kenner, look at a Key West or a Sailfish. Both are great boats without breaking the bank. On the positive side, the Kenner does run shallow and is very fishable as long as two people dont stand on the same side(they lean real bad). Good luck. BB

I've got a Vision 2103 w/ 150 4S Yami and a jackplate. Bought it new in March of last year after looking for a while and couldn't be happier. With a 3 & 4 year old I wanted something I felt safe with them on, that we could take to the lake and ski behind, fish inshore as well as offshore in good weather, and I think it does well above average at all these. I had narrowed it down to a Kenner or a Pathfinder and my wife chose the Kenner b/c of the jumpseats on the rear deck. The boat floats in 15", gets stuck in 12"(been there), I can get on plane when my Garmin says 2.1'(have not tried any less), 35 mph @ 4400 RPM, and 43 WOT loaded. The only thing I don't like is the fishbox in the floor in front of the CC is below the water line and you have to plug it to keep it from filling up w/ water. I've probably fished 45-50 days on it so far and the only problems were w/ the trailer brakes(Hung) and the fuel tank sending unit both of which were covered under warranty. The only thing I would change is to put a Powerpole on it when I bought it. I'm saving up for 1 now.

Hit n Miss you are welcome to come take a look if you want since you cant be far. Just shoot me a PM.

Diamond Eagle in Valdosta. I don't know if he will still change out the Mercs or not?

Hit-n-miss sorry for the delay in my response. I've had some tech difficulties. But in response to your post the kenner vision series will suprise alot of people just like birddog said. It suprises me every time i go skinny. I have the tunnel hull version so that helps alot but with a jackplate and trimtabs it would be a very versatile boat. Mine is a 21' so I can't compare it to the other post about the 18' but my boat has been one of the driest rides i have ever fished out of from 10' to 65'. The only complaint i have had is some gelcoat blemishes but the factory warr. covered it 2 years after purchase. There are alot better boats out there but it's a good boat for the money.

I had the 21 rolled edge ( LX ) with a Merc 150 carb.
Best all around boat I have ever owned . Owned a few . Born and raised in Miami. Had three boats before my DL.
Loved that boat . Mine handled 3ft.ers great . Had that thing to the O tower. Caught dolphin to redfish with that thing, HATED TO SEE THAT THING GO :smt010 :smt013 :smt011 :smt010 :smt011 :smt013
To this day I HATE not having it. That Merc had 300 hrs and no prob. Just gotta take care of what you have .
Any one who buys a Kenner and thinks offshore , well deserves what he gets
Its a bay boat. Pick and choose your days . :smt012
One more time " GOD I loved that Kenner "
