Share a Ride with a Soldier @ the Big Bend Saltwater Classic

Last year the Classic had guests from the U.S. Army that had just returned from Iraq. This year 25 soldiers from Fort Stewart are coming down and some would like to share a ride. If you have room on your boat for a soldier before they re-deploy to Iraq, email the Classic at bigbendsaltwaterclassic@gmail.com.
They have transportation down, lodging, and entries covered for the Classic. They just need an ride, either inshore or offshore, it doesn't matter. Some have saltwater experience, some don't. All want to have a good time before they re-deploy to Iraq, for some their third time.

We've got about 5 of the soldiers covered at the moment. If you have room, please let us know.

thanks

When do we find out who our soldiers are and how to meet up.
Or do we just go to the soldier pool and pick one?

This is truly the best thing the Classic has ever done, even better than all the reefs that have been built. We'll do it again next year.

If you have photos with the soldiers fishing, we would love to have copies for our web site and tournament program. Please forward to me if you will.

thanks again for all the great support of this program.
