Hit the water at 3:30, out at just after 7, got 3 keeper Grouper, a decent King and a decent Cobia :-D I'm whooped so that is all  Had to cut up the Cobia so it would fit in the ice chest and the wife takes terrible pics :smt012

Did you go out on the G3 flat boat in the background? How far do you go for those grouper? Nice cobia.

Breambuster... now you know who on the forum has the .. well has the biggest something when it comes to offshore in a little boat.

But wevans has something worked out with the wind and wave gods. He only has to sacrifice a grouper pole every year to Neptune

I am still learning how to run my bayboat, not quite trusting it yet. I got the boat since January and thus far, it has only seen saltwater once - and I got skunk that day. :smt009 May be I will grow up someday to be just like Weaven, catching grouper on a bass boat.

I don't use a leader, just tie direct to the Cajun Red 40# test. That's the first keeper Cobia that I've landed by myself, it aint no easy chore :o
