Took some coworkers who has never catch a trout before last weekend. Dave was with us on saturday and really help me out with the two newbies on board.

Saturday was very productive with 16 trout, including 3 over 20''. We caught most of the fish in the morning to early afternoon, during incoming and slack tide.

Sherry started the day with a shortie on gulp.

David with a nice one, about 24' plus.

Jenn's turn to hookup. It was taking drag, so may be a blue? No its a trout. Where's the net?

She is now spoiled, expecting to catch another 25' trout on every outing from now on.

Here's a tourist shot at the end of the day.

Wondering where was I during all the trout action? I was too busy catching bait of course.

No pictues on Sunday. The fishnig was significantly slower - cant believe what a day make. We ended up with 6 keepers. All were caught in the morning. Cant buy another keeper after 2 pm, and we fished until 6.

While running in 4' water, I hit something in the water close to the surface. I felt two jolts, first in the bow and then the stern. It didnt leave any mark on the boat at all. Wonder what I hit? Anyone has such an experience? Dont think I hit an oyster bar.

We were fishing on my boat, were just borrowing his board for the pictures. I did learn a few things from Capt. Pat though.

It was a great trip. Always fun to introduce new folks to the beautiful gulf coast, and we were able to pick up some good fish as well. Throw in some LADIES and a few blues and it was quite a day
