Fishing in Baghdad

Thought you guys would find this interesting...
My Father in Law is a civilian contractor in Baghdad.
He and a few Iraqi buddies went fishing and then cooked up the catch.
They are cast netting what look to be carp from one of Saddam's private lakes.
Here is my Father in Law holding one up...
They split them down the back and then roast them on an open fire.

Looks just like something you would see in Wakulla!!

Thanks Barry. It is good to see pictures from that region of people actually enjoying an evening around a fire with friends (something we in America can relate to).
Not at all what the media typically portrays. It is nice to know that something like that is taking place in addition to all the chaos we hear about daily.

That wasn't a knock! I was just saying it looks a lot more like home than I would have thought... just a bunch of guys cooking up the catch for dinner.
