One of them knot-head telemarketers went and called me after I went to bed last night.
I had been very patient up to now, but now none of you knot-heads can call me for the next five years. Thank your buddy over there.

Hehe. You think that is gonna stop them?
I have been on the Do-not-call for 2 years, and they still call....
However, I DO report them when they do.....
Have no idea if it does any good.....

The more I know about something, the more I know that I did not know as much as I thought I knew that I knew.

That's what I'm countin' on.
But, like you, I don't know if it will really do any good either.
Maybe this will at least cut down on the number of calls.

Saw one guy taking them to small claims court. Made it sound that he was 'winning' $500 a pop cause they wouldn't show up.
Part of what you have to have is a picture of the caller ID with date/time toprove it is them.
use your opportunities ...

I have caller ID. If it's not somebody I know I don't answer.

Telemarketer calls all but stopped once I joined the dnc list.
Companies you have accounts with can still call you though, such as your credit card company(s).

You don't always answer the phone even if it is somebody you know.

I've recieved a couple of telemarketer calls on my cell, but only a couple over about 2 years.
From what I see on the Do Not Call Registry website, "Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers are barred from calling consumers on their cell phones without their consent." I went ahead and also registered my cell #.
