Long time reader, first time to post. I fish the Lanark/Alligator Point Areas.
Are there any good areas for reds? Not looking for specifics, just general.
What are good baits to use, besides gulps? Depth of water? AM/PM?

Anywhere along Hiway 98 shoreline. Spoons/topwater/hard jerk baits/soft jerk baits/shrimp.

What JT said. Most of the time fish as shallow as you can. I prefer a rising tide but occasionally do well on the fall.

BirdDog ,after last nights meeting is basically a scallop fisherman.
You will do better on the REDS if you listen to a PRO.
