New water for me......

Put in at Cinco Bayou Bridge, short trip to the bay. Round the bend and my BIL (brother in law) points out bait fish getting hit. Long story short, we catch a hand full of blues (and lots of ladies).

Then I notice that I left my tackle box in the truck. We go back, get that, and run back out. While running across sandy flats (very soothing shade of green - very clear) we see the biggest (only) school of catfish I have ever seen - must be 80-100 of them. Nothing but big headed snot fish every where. Throw a jig down for kicks, catch blues. :-?

Fish the north bay grass beds looking for trout, catch blues. Hit a couple wrecks in 30-45' and drop live pin fish, catch blues. Troll a little on the way in, catch blues (we were expecting it by then).

It was a blue kind of day, but tight lines are always welcome. Never thought of snapping a pic, but be gave a heavy bucket of blues to my mother in law's very appreciative friend. :D
