My buddy and I fished from about 3-6:45pm yesterday. We drifted up to the stake marking the rock garden at our farthest point from the lighthouse. We caught probably 60 trout, and 8 keepers. The largest was 18 1/2", the rest were 15-16". Grubs (w/no cajun thunder) were the ticket. Candy corn, and pink and white seemed to be the most effective. I floated a pinfish all day and never got a hit. We caught 4 spanish also.

Water was dirty, I couldn't see the bottom in 3 ft. The keepers were in the 4 1/2 - 5 ft water, the "cookie cutter" 14"ers were everywhere else.

Good luck, I think springtime fishing is here....
