I would go with a color that reflects the sunlight rather than absorbs it. My cover is a silver one.

I would also say a lighter color.
But I think a model that allows some ventilation is more important than the color.

White, or as close as you can get to it. Reflects heat and light much better.

I've removed the trees and added the shed from Panhandle Salvage(32'x36'). Now just saving up for the slab. I still need 1-2 DT loads of fill......that'll make 6-7. I have a two foot drop from one side to the other

I know it's a overkill for my little river boat, but hey one day I'll have something big to put under it, plus I can work my trucks and what not. I wanna close in the back 12 foot of it and have a shop.
Here is the pic of the form boards I put up on the low side.....

River Runner- What did that cover run you?
I'm thinking about adding on to my shed and It may work better to just put the covered boat area next to it....

Thanks BB, I don't think I could afford anything else. Heck, I don't even know how soon I'll even get to start on the shop part.

Bman, my dad (Mike Spiers) told me tell you that it would take a couple of more tree jobs. I just happened to be on the phone with him when I read this.
On the price of the set up, I think it was a pretty good deal. I paid $3200 for the kit from
http://www.panhandlesalvage.com . Then I went ahead and had them install it. That was another $1700, so not counting all the loads a dirt, I've got just under $5000 in it. Those guys know what there doing also, they got to the house at 6:45a.m. and was pulled out finished at 5:45 p.m. the same day. Well worth the $1700 if you ask me, Dad was trying to talk me into us doing it.......but I don't think I could have taking it(him being a nitpicker). Plus it would have taking months to build I'm sure. They built the whole thing on the ground then used come alongs to jack it up on the poles.

It was quite a site.
Oh yeah, $500 of the $3200 was for engineering plans, beacuse I pulled a permit. I didn't trust my neighbors.
Give them a call, they will give a estimate over the phone.
