Going for the rest of the week. Anyone know of the wheres and hows of fishing the intercoastal waters? Don't want to sit on the beach all week. To much water down there not to find fish in.

I've fished down there a pretty good bit w/ the in laws. Take a left at the carasel (sp?) go over the bridge and take anther left (A1A) there is a sign for live blue crabs on the left turn there and head for the ICW. There is a fairly decent public ramp at Mike's Place (blue crab place). Ask Jannie or Randy. They've got live bait (finger mullet, crabs, mud minnows and shrimp) and are real knowlegdable of the area. They also keep a bunch of guide cards and most importantly beer there. Hope this helps.

If you go over the aforementioned bridge and turn right, then right again, there is a handy fishing pier, with a tackle and bait shop at the landward end.
