Carrabelle 7/18
Left at 7:30 from the moorings, my BIL Jeff and good friend Scott along as well. 5 doz live pin fish, and plenty on frozen on hand. Dead slick, ran S to 70ft 35 mph, on a really good wreck....nodda, only 2 nice triggers, and a couple of misses. Go SW 80ft hunting new spots....found 3 more good areas...got only 2 kings from these, but the spots look good for future trips. The bite finally started at 3pm....on a new spot, caught 8 or so short gags, one triple hook up, with 2 keepers. Had 4 total keepers, 3 reds, one gag......VERY Hot....gonna do it again sat......Scalloping friday at St Joe......will soak up some A/C tomorrow, and smoke some king.....
Time on the water is NEVER wasted time.
