Piney Island Scallops

Took a group of boy scouts and headed out scalloping Saturday. North of Keaton was covered in boats, so I headed south. Ran out a little hump off of Pine Island and I guess my secret ain't no secret. Found plenty in 6 to 7 foot of water. (well away from WAM's poo poh water) The boys played while I did most of the diving to gather scallops. Gathered all I wanted to clean and then ran in and anchored off of Pine Island to let the boys play while we cleaned the scallops. Mentioned to several boys and a couple adults that the sun sure was hot and that another application of sunscreen might be in order. I think I was the only one who didn't get too much sun

They all had a good time.
Took in an out of the public ramp at Keaton. Low tide going and half tide coming. Didn't have any problems nor could I see how any idiot (WAM?) could back his trailer too far down either of those nice ramps.
Hated that my helper got my trailer in the water so fast...there was a lot of eye candy waiting in boats around the ramp to take out

I was in the boat, my buddy was in the truck, I said moan back, he did.
I'm sure your right if there was pollution in the water at Dekle it was most likely pristine three miles from there at piney point.
How do you say dumb azzzzzzzzz? (turdshucker)
Them turds work off a gps and anchor in one location right?
Turdshucker is suffering from some serious delusions.
A. It ain't my pooh I have not been there in a month.
B. The pooh is mobile not stationary.
C. He was full of it now he is coated in it.
D. Often when he speaks his breath smells like it.

You know what they say, idiots of a feather flock together.

I'm glad to see that you are an expert on at least one topic. I am not surprised it is turdology.

I say Howard or WAM...either one lets everyone know we are now discussing a dumb azzzz.

I sure am. I thought you had enough sense to know when you were whipped and when to shut up.

The fecal matter is coming from septic tank drainage. I guess once again, you are a turdologist and you know how long it takes one of your toxic turds to go through the system.
The only difference between you and a bucket of it is the bucket
Back to the short bus boy
BTW, is it true you are kin to JT

Glad you got them Mud. We went sunday and that deep water was to much like work. And the water was cloudy, you could not see them till you got closer to the bottom. We went in shallow and just gathered a few gallons.

Where I went, the water was gin clear and the scallops were easy to see and get, other than the diving part. I think I ended up with between 7 and 8 gallons.
Glad ya'll got'em too

Sounds like you and the troop had a great time.
The wife and her brother got a few scallops Sat and Sun, whilst I sat under the T-Top with my fan going, a cool drink and respooled a few reels & reorganized the tackle box.

I usually sit on the boat and act as lifeguard, but my son, who usually goes and is the scalloping king of the troop, had other plans for the weekend, so I had to join the battle
