CAN ANYONE REMEMBER WHEN THERE WAS ROCK GRASS FROM AUCILLA ALL THE WAY TO ECKY. WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO ALL THE ROCK GRASS? IT WAS SO THICK 10 OR 12 YEARS AGO THE ONLY WAY YOU COULD FISH IT WAS HITTING POCKETS WITH A FLY ROD.

I don't know, Crocker, but I know that this particular grass attracted huge trout and redfish like a piece of steel to a magnet! I have made the same observations and sure do miss all that productive type of grass! Maybe one of our websters is a Marine Biologist or knows one and someone can explain this deficiency?

If a little fresh water hits the bay before fall it will grow. There is some there now if you know where to look.

10- 12 YEARS AGO YOU HAD TO LOOK FOR OPEN SPOTS, NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

What is the loop? And why would someone want to be in it? Especially when you don't have to be in the loop to find a patch or two of ROCK GRASS!
