Bringing my yak over to fish a friendly redfish/trout tourney to help promote kayak fishing in the area. I've heard St. Andrews bay is the place to fish, but that to me is like saying the ocean is the place to fish. Any suggestions on where to bend a rod in the doldrums of summer would be helpful. Thanks

I'm going down to fish the bay Sat & Sun this weekend. I haven't been down there a lot, so I'm not sure where to recommend. I'm going to explore the west bay if the weather behaves.

I'd try putting in at the 79 bridge and paddling about two miles to the southeast....Probably some closer places, but I tend to fish away from civilization

That's by necessity, not choice. (Given Chalks fondness of hanging it over the side) :-D
