That sounds like a good idea...... or call in on the way down Saturday morning ? anything that might help with that extra mileage. (Gas & Time).... what do the powers that be say ?

Check in is a must. That's the only way I have the contestant information I need.

Checking in at Jerrys is actually a benefit to everyone, and is the desire of most. In the past, tournaments were run out of a specific landing. That's where you checked in, that's where you launched. We still do that at PSJ, and occasionally a few other locations. Checking in at Jerrys now allows every team to fish where ever they choose.

Due to recent information,I may have to fish in the same location as TC. Fortunately I can check in and leave before he does.
The Tournament Director gets the short end of the stick on tournament day.
Being the benevolent person I am,I will save him a small spot at the BIG TROUT LOCATION.
Having had to fish with BIRDDOG recently,he may be stuck with PEEWEE TROUT.

When the sun comes up all you will see is me catching BIG TROUT.
But then,you probably won't get there until AFTER the sun comes up.
