Lake Blackshear 04-04-2003

Not much to report. Got to Smoak Bridge about dark. Fishing mostly for stripers under dock lights. We had lots of bites between dark and 10:30 pm. The only problem is, it was skeeters biting us. No striper bites, no largemouth bites. Caught a few small speckled perch. Lots of bream hitting bugs on top, but we were looking for the big bite that never came. All and all, had a great time with a good fishing partner, drinking diet pepsi, telling tall tales, and dodging drunks in boats. 
Had to play hero and tow one boat load of drunks who had run out of gas back to the dock. Almost left them out there.
