put in at Coe's Landing about 6pm, on the water til 9:30... caught a couple small largemouth on topwater. Nothing to speak of.

More interesting was the huge amount of mayflies (I think)... right about dusk I realized there was a large amount of buzzing, I looked up, and they were everywhere... All in hover mode, all facing the same way, occasionally jumping one another... :)

Saw lots of fish hitting the surface eating them. Short of fly-fishing, any recommendations on how to target the fish eating the mayflies?

No love for the freshwater this week!
those mayfly's are amazing!

Glad you got to go- Try using a fly behind a cork or clear casting bubble-

I used to use a 10ft. BreamBuster w/ 8ft. of floating flyline and 4ft. of 2 or 4lb. mono tied to a glow plug fly. Toss that fly under those hanging oaks and wait for that big ole bream to suck it down.
