hit the water about 3pm on fri. and picked up 2 keeper trout(16in.) and 2 keeper mackeral(15in.) all on live shrimp under CT in 4-5ft of water which was pretty clear. tried a bunch of different color jigs w/ fishbites and caught a BUNCH of 14-14.5in. shorts. went in close at dusk and saw quite a few reds tailing, but couldn't hook into one. went and ate the fish we had caught and went back out for about an hour to try and catch a big shark, but only managed a 2 footer. went out sat. about 11am and began catching alot of short trout again on shrimp under CT and straight grubs. ended up w/ 5 keepers(16in.-19in.) had to head back in when we almost got struck by lightning. it was a good couple days on the water catching trout, spanish, sharks, catfish, stingrays, pinfish, and bluefish. i also caught a small sea turtle in my hands out on the island in front of lanark.
