Anybody got a used AT&T/Cingular phone????

Post by dolphinatic »

I'm looking for a used cell phone for a spare. Dropped mine in the water this past weekend and paying $100 for a new one would be a waste for me to spend in my profession. THANKS!!!!!!

P.S. Would even be willing to trade some detailing work for a good used phone

I killed mine on Saturday as well. Luckily I have insurance and a new(refurb) one is only 50 bucks.

Found a replacement on Ebay for the wife.

As far as insurance don't file more than 2 claims in 30 days or they cancel you. Fishing and cellphones

Thanks for the input guys. Both of my phones do have SIM cards, but they only work with certain phones. I have 5 other phones and none of them will work with the new SIM card I'm using :x

I'm done with dealing with cell providers, especially with warranties. I shipped my last phone back under warranty and they never received it. They billed me $250 for the replacement phone and I told them to shove it! I went with a prepaid instead and it works just fine. Plus it limits the phone calls from the wife so I dont have to pay all those "buy the minute" fees  , especially while I'm fishing!!!!

Did he say limits calls from wife on an open public forum? How ballsy. She can't read? Or you have a death wish! :o

I lost my razor to water damage a couple months ago as well..... A cheap fix is to buy one of the Cingular GO phones from walmart and place your SIM card in it. As long as you don't activate it this will take the place of your regular phone. It only costs about $18.00.

These GO phones aren't a super high-tech phone, but they are very small and get the job done.

Call it ballsy

I made it just fine years ago going fishing without a cell phone, so why should today be different. I've found that about 80% of the calls I receive are fairly pointless anyway...they're just made because they can be and cell usage has just become too common.
